September 11'2004: NCC Tigers Youth team participates in 2004 Australian Festival Cricket on the Parthenon lawn!

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday as the NCC Tigers ran on the field in their uniforms to participate in the 2004 Australian Festival held September 9-12 at Nashville’s beautiful Centennial Park. The children of the ages 6-14 years showcased their cricket skills for the audience and then asked kids watching to join in to try bowling and batting. It was a great opportunity for the NCC Tigers to promote this fun sport in Nashville, and was enjoyed by all!

NCC offers free coaching for “SoftCricket” on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Kids have a chance to learn the basic skills of cricket using a kids cricket set which is made of materials safer than the traditional hard bat and leather ball.
