Sriram
Chandrasekaran
Major Teams: Nashville
Cricket Club.
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Leg Break, Wicketkeeper
A batsman wicketkeeper, Sriram has had mixed success. Even though,
he performed admirably well in the 2004 Australian Festival Cricket
Championship, he has failed to attain a permanent spot in the side.
His fast leg breaks can be handful on any surface. He is a fine
fielder and very safe pair of hands behind wickets.
Ramesh
Ramalingam
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club.
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Off Break
Ramesh is the Murali of Nashville. He brings a variety to the NCC’s
bowling attack and mixes his off breaks with the doosra. He gets
turn on any kind of wicket and has had some success in the 2004
season. Ramesh had to leave Nashville for professional reasons.
He left a void in the regular cricket of Nashville Cricket Club
that will be hard to fill. He commitment to NCC is unmatched, he
regularly travels with NCC to play out of state matches.
Adil
Sohail
Major Teams: Nashville
Cricket Club.
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium Fast
Adil is a player with immense potential and ability. He is a hard
working bowler who runs in hard and bowls nippy off cutters. Even
though he could not play in most of the matches in the 2004 season,
he can come in anytime and with little or no practice show his talent.
His best figures of 2-25 came against the German Town Cricket Club
in May 2004. He could not continue to play in Nashville due to his
commitments at work and business. Hopefully we can see more of Adil
in 2005 season and enjoy the skills he brings the game.
Aley
Muhammad
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club.
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Orthodox
Aley is a young player who crossed over from baseball.
He brings a lot of skills from his passion of baseball to cricket.
His keenness to play the game at the highest level and to the best
of his ability separates him from the rest. He is willing to learn
and try out different technique to polish himself as a young cricketer.
He will be an asset to Nashville Cricket Club as soon as he acquires
the discipline and patience required to play the game of cricket.
Mustaheed Khan
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium
As a young player Mustaheed has
grown in confidence over the last year. He is a willing listener
and learns from this senior peers. He stared in the match against
Middle Tennessee State University when he took two wickets in a
single over. He has a good technique and attitude to be great cricketer
in the future.
Mahir Nisar
Major Teams: LAS Cricket Association, LCC, Nashville Cricket
Club
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium Fast
Mahir is the most recent inclusion
into the club as an all-rounder. He bowls at a lively pace and his
weapon of choice is change of pace. His only appearance of the 2004
season came against Middle Tennessee State University where his
magical spell of three for four sank the opposition for 43 all out.
Mahir promises NCC a great future with his batting and bowling.
Rizwan Ghumro
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club
Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium
Rizwan has worked very had in 2004
to improve his technique. He seems to be ready for a game or two
in 2005 season. He strikes the ball cleanly and mostly hits well-timed
groundstrokes.
