Sriram Chandrasekaran

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Leg Break, Wicketkeeper

A batsman wicketkeeper, Sriram has had mixed success. Even though, he performed admirably well in the 2004 Australian Festival Cricket Championship, he has failed to attain a permanent spot in the side. His fast leg breaks can be handful on any surface. He is a fine fielder and very safe pair of hands behind wickets.

Ramesh Ramalingam
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club.

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Off Break

Ramesh is the Murali of Nashville. He brings a variety to the NCC’s bowling attack and mixes his off breaks with the doosra. He gets turn on any kind of wicket and has had some success in the 2004 season. Ramesh had to leave Nashville for professional reasons. He left a void in the regular cricket of Nashville Cricket Club that will be hard to fill. He commitment to NCC is unmatched, he regularly travels with NCC to play out of state matches.

Adil Sohail
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club.

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium Fast

Adil is a player with immense potential and ability. He is a hard working bowler who runs in hard and bowls nippy off cutters. Even though he could not play in most of the matches in the 2004 season, he can come in anytime and with little or no practice show his talent. His best figures of 2-25 came against the German Town Cricket Club in May 2004. He could not continue to play in Nashville due to his commitments at work and business. Hopefully we can see more of Adil in 2005 season and enjoy the skills he brings the game.

Aley Muhammad
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club.

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Orthodox

Aley is a young player who crossed over from baseball. He brings a lot of skills from his passion of baseball to cricket. His keenness to play the game at the highest level and to the best of his ability separates him from the rest. He is willing to learn and try out different technique to polish himself as a young cricketer. He will be an asset to Nashville Cricket Club as soon as he acquires the discipline and patience required to play the game of cricket.

Mustaheed Khan
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium

As a young player Mustaheed has grown in confidence over the last year. He is a willing listener and learns from this senior peers. He stared in the match against Middle Tennessee State University when he took two wickets in a single over. He has a good technique and attitude to be great cricketer in the future.

Mahir Nisar
Major Teams: LAS Cricket Association, LCC, Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium Fast

Mahir is the most recent inclusion into the club as an all-rounder. He bowls at a lively pace and his weapon of choice is change of pace. His only appearance of the 2004 season came against Middle Tennessee State University where his magical spell of three for four sank the opposition for 43 all out. Mahir promises NCC a great future with his batting and bowling.

Rizwan Ghumro
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium

Rizwan has worked very had in 2004 to improve his technique. He seems to be ready for a game or two in 2005 season. He strikes the ball cleanly and mostly hits well-timed groundstrokes.

Amir Arain
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club.

Right Hand Bat

Amir is more known for his organizational skills than his cricketing skills. He is an active member of the social ascpetsof the club. He has occasionally practiced with NCC for last couple of years and despite his potential to make it into the side has not found time away from his daily activities. He appeared in the 2004 Music City Cricket Tournament and was quite successful

Riaz Gill
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium

Riaz it a naturally talented player and regularly represented NCC in the 2003 season. His technique is by the book and has a picture perfect batting stance. He played in the 2003 Nashville Occasionals Trophy. He has all the strokes in the book and can hit some towering sixes. Riaz is also a very useful bowler. It was unfortunate for NCC not to see him in the 2004 season.

Mohammad Asad
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Off Break

Asad is an entertaining batsman and can strike the ball quite hard. However, sometimes his bowling can let him down. His huge wrists and forearms are a key to his powerful sweeps and pulls. He likes to play stroke freely and once he gets going it is very hard to contain him. Asad can undo any bowling attack with ease.

Rizwan Faisal
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium

Rizwan is one of the very few tape ball specialists in the club. He guided NCC to their first indoor tournament early in 2004. He has yet to apply his talent and technique in the hard ball game. In time he might be able to realize him enormous potential as a batsman.

Mukarram Uddin
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Right Hand Bat, Left Arm Off Spin

Mukarram is the only left arm bowler the NCC has produced. He has the ability to spin the ball a long way on any surface. His only appearance in the 2004 season was in the 2004 Music City Cricket Tournament where his bowling won him praise. We look forward to seeing more of Mukarram in the years to come.

Jaweed Ansari
Major Teams: Nashville Cricket Club

Left Hand Bat, Right Arm Medium

Being the only left hand batsman in NCC, Jaweed has enormous potential with the club. His ability to strike the ball with power and precision makes him a tough contender in any situation. Jaweed is a regular in the nets but has just failed to find the time to play in a match. He has the ability to take on any attack and play long innings. We look forward to see him make is debut in the 2005 season.
