On Sunday, the second match
was played at Whites Creek pitch. We won the toss and elected to
bat. Kishore and Andy started the innings. The opening pair scored
70 in first 13 overs. Kishore scored 13 and provided a solid start.
Andy played a great inning scoring 61, Alam and Sunny got out early
while hitting the ball. Then the partnership between Emill and Rory
changed the game. Emill scored 51 with 6 sixes, Rory scored 33.
We ended up scoring 211 in 30 overs. MCC started very well, and
had 110 in 15 overs and needed 100 in 15 overs with 9 wickets in
hand. After the break, with Mark bringing Emill and himself changed
the game. Emill had a hatrick with clean bowling the first one and
then two LBW decisions. Afterwards, MCC could not stand to the intense
pressure by our team and stumbled to 140 all-out. Caribbean community
arranged the dinner for the both teams and it was delicious. From
NCC, Alam, Sunny, Bimal, Kishore and Naveed played the match.
