All matches are played with taped (electric
plastic tape—white) tennis balls. Each team is guaranteed
to play at least two matches. Matches will be played in an indoor
basketball court..
1. Each game shall be played between two
teams of maximum of Seven players. A game consists of a maximum
of Eight six-ball overs bowled by each side.
2. Tournament will be played on a League / knock-out basis.
3. Bowler is restricted to a maximum of 2 overs.
4. No LBWs.
5. A wide shall count as 1 extra to the batting side and an extra
ball shall be bowled. Any ball, which in the opinion of the Umpire,
is outside the reach of a batsman shall be called a wide, provided
it does not touch the bat and/or any part of the batsman.
6. A no-ball shall count as 1 extra run to the batting side and
an extra ball shall be bowled. Any runs scored from a no-ball (off
the bat, byes, or leg-byes) will also be credited. Any ball which,
after bouncing, passes the batsman above shoulder height in his
normal stance, or would have passed him above shoulder height if
it strikes his bat or body, shall be called a no-ball. The umpire's
decision is final.
7. If a fielder is injured, a substitute fielder will be permitted.
8. A team should have at least 6 players at the start of the game
to be allowed to participate in the game.
9. In the event of a tie-breaker the team which has better run-rate
(total runs scored divided by number of overs in which the runs
were scored) will be the winner.
10. No last person batting.
11. Umpire's decision will be final in all matters.
12. In the case of rain, adjustment in match schedules and rules
will be made. In such case organization committee’s decision
will be final.
